Aren’t these gorgeous? No idea what they are called.

Why have I been such a slug on this website. Because the mechanisms that run a blog are a pain to maintain. Recently I installed a cache plugin to help speed up the loading of the mobile website and that stalled out my RSS FIRE Feed (which I love reading from every morning). So now, I am moving the RSS FIRE Feed to a subdomain soon. This should help speed issues and make everything happy. I am finding the energy to resolve.

One of the views I experienced on my walks

Recent Five Frugal Things:

  1. The sun has been shining brightly on San Francisco as of late and I am walking, what feels like a hundred, thousand steps per week. Which is FREE! This is to add I recently received my hormone replacement therapy for menopausal issues that provides amazing energy. Walk, walk, walk. I hope I don’t burn off the HRT too fast because my next injection is not until August.
  2. In looking for high protein meals to help aid in my health journey, I found this amazing chicken & red lentil soup with lemony yogurt recipe on the New York Times. It’s really worth making and provides 24g of protein in 1 cup. The recipe uses Greek yogurt as the “cream” and uses a mix of mint, dill and parsley for epic flavor.
  3. I just finished reading The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern. I thought it was a solid read even though I have been such a slow reader lately. What is another good book I should read? Fiction or non-fiction.
  4. Took a trial run being a cat sitter on Rover. I had two bookings and 5 cats in my house at one time! Fortunately I had a cat gate that helped to separate them when needed. But after a few days, they all pretty much got along. My cats are so mild mannered that I forgot they jump on furniture. I had to secure things to make sure I didn’t lose a TV when not looking.
  5. Made another pitcher of iced green tea – 3 tea bags and 1/4 C of sugar. Perfecto!
