1. My friend Shang was doing a book tour in my area and I stop in for a great visit! She is the author of Wealth is a Mindset and is the mastermind behind Instagram’s Save My Cents. Many of the things she said during her presentation really hit home! I am hoping to do a book review soon.

Scored a free bookcase!

2. Donating my reading and cook book collection years ago – in the name of minimalism – has been a mild regret. So I have been determined to re-build a cookbook collection since moving to San Francisco. Fortunately, I scored a FREE bookcase from a friend and have been slowly filling it. It brings me joy.

3. I have been averaging 6,000-9,000 steps per day and it is FREE to do. The weather has also been amazing up here. If it’s one bit of important information I have learned from my elders – that is to keep moving. I hope to keep this personal trend up and track on my Apple watch. When I first bought a watch, I didn’t care for it and sold it; as it’s a glorified pedometer. Recently, I bought another one – in the name of health – and I really like it this time as my intentions are in line with it. Plus, I am also in love with the Toy Story watch face.

4. I am still reading Fourth Wing (book 1). Slow reader, I know. I really am enjoying it. Most women probably enjoy Dragons and hot men. I need to catch up so that I can read the new Onyx Storm book that is out. For those who are reading it – without spoilers – how are you liking it?

5. I took the time to do a mini manicure at home by painting my own nails. First it was green. Now it’s beige and a deep blue. I like to do a random nail on my hand a different color.
